How is YEAR 7 Notes designed to serve these targets?
YEAR 7 Notes is an all-inclusive book divided into TWO PARTS, each with a specific focus, covering a wide range of topics and providing ample practice opportunities for students to enhance their understanding and application of the subject matter.
Part 1: Language system and Literary Devices
In this part, students are introduced to two units:
Grammar and Punctuation: Here, students will delve into the intricacies of grammar rules and punctuation, refining their grasp of language mechanics.

Part 2: Reading and Writing skills

Each unit in the two parts includes several lessons and topics, each provides explanation of the subject matter and TWO LEVELS of practice:
LEVEL 1 PRACTICE: This level offers immediate application of the taught concepts.
LEVEL 2 PRACTICE: Designed as an advanced practice level, it serves as a bridge towards Year 8, promoting deeper understanding and higher-order thinking.
In addition to the two-level practice activities provided for each topic, and in order to strengthen the student’s knowledge and make them able to tackle different types of questions with ease and confidence, each lesson is followed by a Classification Part in which YEAR 7 latest exams questions are classified
according to the sub strands of the new framework.
Following the same concept of levelling up the students, Y8 latest exams are also provided with the questions classification acting as a LEVEL 2 PRACTICE. And the journey ends with YEAR 7 latest full exams, besides those of YEAR 8.
And certainly, the ANSWER KEY of this banquet of practice activities is provided in Book 2.
